“I wanted to write this review on Thanksgiving because I am thankful for Ashley Abuel. She basically saved my mom’s life. The hospital wanted to send my mom to hospice because they thought her insurance coverage was about to run out. Ashley stepped in and immediately found out my mom had a supplemental policy that had her covered for unlimited days. She also worked with us to get a second opinion and ensured the hospital implemented the recommendations from the Cleveland Clinic. My mom started getting better! If my wife had not found Ashley I’m convinced my mom would not be with us. Ashley was very professional the entire experience. So thankful for her knowledge and understanding of the industry. We were literally at the end of our rope. Would give 10 stars if able.”

“Ashley is one of the reasons I’m alive today. My family hired her when I was unconscious in the ICU. The ICU team told my family that there was nothing more they could do for me. Ashley helped my family get a second opinion from an ICU physician at one of the country’s best hospitals. She was also able to find a mistake in the hospital records which affected my care and treatment. Ultimately, I was able to pull through, but it has been a long journey. Ashley walked with me through the whole process, from the hospital to the skilled nursing facility and eventually home. She also helped me monitor my medical bills for several months afterward. Ashley is gentle and kind. She helped me understand my options and make wise decisions every step of the way. I am more than satisfied with all the help and guidance she has given me and my family. “Above and beyond the call of duty. This phrase describes Ashley to a ‘T’! If you want a very compassionate, kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable person, then look no further than Ashley! Ashley is a tireless patient advocate and more! She personally navigated me through my long hospitalization and long stay with physical therapy and occupational therapy in a poor rehabilitation facility. She also took on the extremely difficult job of dealing with my insurance company and the equally difficult billing system.
For me, personally, Ashley has dealt with hospitals, doctors, nurses, specialists, and as I said, insurance and numerous bills. This has entailed much time and effort on her part and she does not stop until everything is in order!
Ashley has been there with me from day one. She was there for me in person in my great time of need. We exchanged endless texts and phone calls throughout my hospitalizations and to this day when I am back at home many months later. She is ALWAYS very upbeat, pleasant, and optimistic.
